The new AEGISTI" series UPS is the successor to Mitsubishis 9900A Series. Like all other Mitsubishi UPSs, the AEGISnA is a three-phase, on-line double-conversion system and features Mitsubishi's world-renown Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology for enhanced UPS performance aid reliability. The AEGIS series is available in 80, 100, 150, 160, and 225 kVA and is UL924 listed (Standard for Emergency Lighting). One of the outstanding features of the AEGIS is that it boasts a relatively flat efficiency curve, indicating that the UPS is highly efficient regardless of the load. This is significant since loads in various data centers can range anywhere from 25% to needy 100%. For example, the 225 kVA model has an impressive efficiency of 95.7% with a load of just 25% while in double conversion mode.
